Ear Sugar

Chasin' Chicks

I got this cute little chicken from a lady at work who thought Lucy would have fun chasing it. And she did. :)

Now We're Really Stranded In Clarksville

We got snow! I still can't believe it but we got several inches last night, more than we've had in a while. It is really pretty but I didn't get my errands done which I will probably pay for later this week. :)

Lucy was cute in the snow, it was almost as deep as she is tall. And really cold so we didn't stay out too long. She did wear her cute little coat with the fur collar that my mom gave her for Christmas and finally fits! :)

Visiting the Grandog!

My mom and dad came up this weekend and Lucy LOVED having Grandma and Grandpa visit. She ate up all of the attention and was totally worn out and slept all afternoon after they left. As for Uncle Louie we won't talk about how his visit went. Hopefully he will recuperate in a few days.

I must say it was WONDERFUL to have a house full of PEOPLE for a change!!! Lucy is great but a lot like talking to a wall. :)

Hula Girl!

I couldn't resist this little green shirt at the store today. It reminded me of Hawaii and I thought Lucy would make an adorable Surfer Dog.

All Tangled Up

Poor Lucy (doesn't every message start this way) spent a little extra time at the groomer this week to get all of the mats out of her hair. Apparently Yorkies are very prone to mats as they go through the color change from puppy to grown doggie. I dropped her off at noon and was told she would be ready around 3:30pm. John called at 3pm and said he would need a little more time and would call when she was ready. By 5:15pm they STILL hadn't called so I decided to go investigate and she still wasn't quite ready. The poor thing had a very long afternoon but is mat free for now and we are extremely grateful to The Kennel Shop for taking such good care of her and giving mommy a lesson in Yorkie maintenance! :)

Bath Time Is Still No Fun

Poor Lucy still hasn't learned to embrace bath time. It is an experience for both of us every week but it must be done. It is amazing how something so small can smell so much!
